• Mineral Oils: derived from petroleum, these can can have a suffocating effect on the skin.
• Silicones: gives quick silky-smooth skin but forms an occlusive barrier that can clog pores and hamper the skins ability to breathe and regenerate.

Since we use natural ingredients rather than harsh chemicals in our skincare, we don't need synthetic preservatives. That makes it more important to properly store and use your products to maximize their shelf life and keep them performing at their best. Here are some simple tips:

• Scoop with care: Always use clean dry fingers or a sanitized spatula to dip into jars. Using wet or dirty fingers can introduce bacteria and moisture, which can shorten the lifespan of your products.
• Seal tightly: Make sure lids are firmly closed when not in use this locks in freshness and keeps air and impurities out.
• Store smartly: Find cool, dark places to house your skincare. Avoid exposure to direct heat, which can degrade formulas quickly.

Please note that due to the delicate and organic nature of our formulations, Wild Roots Body Butter may soften or liquify slightly while in transit during Summer months. This is completely normal and does not affect the efficacy or performance of the product. If it does become soft, place the jar in the fridge for 30 minutes to an hour to firm it back up.

Our body butters are made with cruelty-free ingredients and is never tested on animals.

Our product is vegan because it only contains plant based ingredients.

Wild and Rooted Touch: We've also added vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant that helps to seal in the moisture and protect the skin's natural barrier function. Vitamin E works synergistically with the other ingredients to keep your skin soft, supple and deeply hydrated- never greasy!

The butters are formulated for body use but can also be applied to the face with a very light touch. However, it is important to conduct a patch test first, as everyone's skin is unique.
